
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center. The first 500 fans receive free pink t-shirts. All fans are encouraged to wear pink along with the Trojans in pink uniforms and support this wonderful cause.
Breast cancer survivors will honored at half-time of the game. The Arkansas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® as well as Spit for a Cure will have tables set up in the main entrance of the Jack Stephens Center.
Two autographed pink jerseys as well as an autographed pink basketball will be raffled off at the game to raise money for the Arkansas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
UALR enters the game 18-5 overall and 11-1 in conference action after defeating Louisiana-Lafayette Saturday. In that game, junior Chastity Reed led the team with 15 points and nine rebounds, while sophomore Britteni Williams contributed 11 points and six rebounds.
Overall for the Trojans, Reed leads the team in points averaging 25 per game and in rebounds averaging 7.5 per game. In conference action, Reed averages a team-high 25.8 points per game, while junior Shanika Butler averages a team-high 7.2 boards per game.
ULM enters the match-up 9-15 overall and 3-11 in conference action after losing at Arkansas State 56-77 on Monday. Overall for the Warhawks, Jesse Carrier leads the team in points averaging 11.8 per game, while Sannisha Williams leads the team in rebounds averaging 8.3 per game.
This will be the 13th meeting between the two teams with the Trojans leading the all-time series record 10-2. UALR has won the past eight meetings including the last winning 71-54 at ULM on January 2.
In that game, Reed set her career record and the UALR scoring record for the first time with 42 points, while Butler led the team in rebounds with eight. Senior Kim Sitzmann knocked down 16 points in the win. For ULM, Carrier led the team with 17 points.
The last time the Warhawks defeated the Trojans was on January 2, 2006 at ULM 56-53.
