It's called "RUFL" pronounced as if it was "Ruffle." It's a new football league that began Monday night in Little Rock and represents a national movement.

When Jackson Etters was almost three, he was diagnosed with autism. By the time Jakcson was six, his parents decided they needed to get him a service dog, but those are specially trained and expensive.
The Etters started a fund raising drive, and a football fan on Rivals.com foud out about it, got on the website and told fans to send money. Five dollars, $10, $15, whatever they could spare. In three hours they had raised $12,000, plenty of money for the dog, but the football fans kept going.
They raised enough money to begin a brand new football league for kids with autism.
Monday night, Community Connections, who organized the "Rivals United Football League," opened boxes unveiling brand new jersies and equipment for this brand new league. It is the first RUFL in the country but the fans nationwide have indicated in the chat room, they want it to expand.
The league will continue on Monday nights through the season. Volunteers are needed for the 30 plus kids. The action begins at 5:15pm on the Fellowship Bible Fields. If you'd like to help call Courtney at 733-1627.
