Another Sec Coaching Award For Arkansas' McDonnell

Retiring coach John McDonnell of Arkansas has been named Southeastern Conference outdoor track and field coach of the year for one final time.

The selection was announced Tuesday, after McDonnell led Arkansas to its 84th conference title, 46th SEC title, 23rd outdoor conference title and 14th SEC outdoor title. This is his last season as coach.

Richard Thompson of LSU was named runner of the year, Cory Martin of Auburn was field athlete of the year, Johnny Dutch of South Carolina was freshman runner of the year, and Joseph Berry of Tennessee was freshman field athlete of the year.
