Liz's Mom's Trout

Shane's Shark
This week, Liz's Lake of the Week takes us to Stone County to a family favorite.
Her parents frequently visit Mirror Lake. It's a 3 acre rainbow trout haven. It's near Mountain View and is constantly fed by the 58-degree water flowing from Blanchard Springs Caverns.
Liz's mom reeled in a nice rainbow trout. It weighed 2-and-a-half-pounds and was 16-and-a-half inches long. She caught the trout using a Thomas spoon.
And another big trout caught by Jaxon Rogers on a fly up near Mountain Home. He's pictured with friend, mentor and guide Chuck Farneth. The German Brown Trout weighed 12 to 13 pounds and was 27 1/2 by 19 1/2 inches.
Next is the sweetest bream fisherwoman on Lake DeGray. Sharon's 3 year-old grandaughter, Eva Kate Harrell is doing what she loves best. Not playing with dolls but fishing for bream.
8 year old Shane Morris from Shannon Hills recently visited Destin, Florida. He saw a huge Shark strung up and asked his mother, " Is that a real shark?" His mother pulled over and allowed him to be photographed with the very large shark. Shane figured out fairly quick that it was not a real shark!
Keep the great catches coming! We want your pictures and videos. Don't forget to tell Liz your fish tale. Who caught it, what kind, when and where. She just might show it on-air next Friday.
