Shabby Chic Night Stand

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 1, 2012) - It's Home and Garden Wednesday on 'Today's THV This Morning' and interior designer Kirt Thomas is in studio.

He's got a do-it-yourself project that will only take you about two hours and save you lots of dough.

Shabby Chic Night Stand

Items:  Side Table
           Lace Tablecloth
           Expresso Satin Finish Spray paint
           Metallic Spray paint

This project takes an old side table and, with the use of a lace table cloth, givea it new life as a shabby chic night stand. If you don't have a side table, you can by one for as little as $3.99 (as Kirt did). First, take off the existing hardware and then spray paint the table with Expresso Satin. Once the table is dry, pull the lace tight over the area to be stenciled and use the metallic spray paint to give it a little shine. Lightly spray and then peel back! You can also use the metallic paint on the hardware.
