Huge red Powerballs have been bouncing around the state to celebrate the start of the game. All of the money goes to fund futures for Arkansas students.
Arkansas Lottery Commissioner Ernie Passailaigue says, "The most important thing is to keep all our money in state, so that it's not going to Oklahoma, Missouri, to other states to play the lottery. We estimate $58 million dollars raised over the next 11 months. About half the profit so it is big for the state of Arkansas because all that money goes to students and that's what we're excited about."
All it takes is one dollar to play Powerball and you can win $3 to $66 million.
