Eight Hospitalized After Fayetteville Deck Collapse

The accident happened about 6 p.m. Saturday at a home in Fayetteville. Police say that more than 20 people were on or near the deck which was 12 feet off the ground when it collapsed.

Eight people were sent to hospitals, mostly for broken bones, and 10 were treated at the scene with minor injuries.
Authorities are still investigating what caused the deck to collapse.
