Billy Edings is 29 years old and previously earned a degree in management information systems. However, the Joiner man said that companies "couldn't get past the blind thing."

Now Edings is getting a computer information systems degree at Arkansas Northeastern College. He says he works mostly by feeling parts, listening and thinking his way through technical problems.

Edings' tutor, Carol Walls, has taken many of the classes herself. Walls does not do things for Edings, unless it's something that any other student would need.
