Hiles and Starr have helped the ASU women's basketball program to 69 victories over the past three-plus seasons, including at least 20 victories in their sophomore and junior years. The pair was also instrumental in helping the Red Wolves reach the second round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament during the 2006-07 season.

"Each year when it comes down to senior day, we always think the seniors that have come through this program are special, but you can't help but feel that Brittney and Caroline have separated themselves from all the seniors," said ASU Head Coach Brian Boyer. "Their loyalty, their dedication, their love for Arkansas State and their love for Arkansas State women's basketball is second to none."

Both players have seen action in all 26 of ASU's games this season, with Hiles drawing 11 starts and Starr four. Hiles has scored in double figures twice this season, notching 13 points Jan. 14 in ASU's victory over Louisiana-Monroe and 10 in the Red Wolves' win over Western Kentucky. She handed out a career-high eight assists in the season opening, 73-56 win over Creighton.

Starr has poured in 18 points on two different occasions this season, leading the Red Wolves to road victories over Indiana State and Louisiana-Lafayette with six three-pointers in each game.

"For four years, they have put their team first, and I can't say enough about what they have meant to this program," said Boyer.

In addition to the senior day activities, The A-State Women's basketball program has also set aside Sunday's game to take part in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's "Pink Zone" initiative in the battle against women's cancers. While much of the 'Pink Zone' project will focus primarily on cancer awareness, prevention and education, there will be some events taking place that will raise money for the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, which is an arm of the V Foundation.

Arkansas State's players will also be wearing specially-designed uniforms for the 'Pink Zone' game, and ASU fans are encouraged to wear pink instead of the traditional red.

Sunday's game, along with Saturday night's A-State men's game against Denver, has been set aside as the school's "Take a Kid to the Game" contests. Any youngster in eighth grade and under can receive free admission with a paid adult.
