Name That Blogger

Is President Bush spending time in the blogosphere? To those listening to his latest defense of his military policy, it sure seemed that way.

During a speech aimed at backing up his point that pulling out of Iraq would be a disaster, President Bush quoted from two bloggers from Baghdad. In his remarks to the Cattlemen's Beef Association, Bush noted that Iraq has bloggers, "just like we've got here." He then quoted comments that indicated things are returning to normal in the Iraqi capital.

Turns out Bush was quoting two brothers who write an English-language blog from Baghdad and both men got to meet Bush in the Oval Office in 2004. White House spokeswoman Dana Perino defended the appearance of blog commentary in a presidential speech.
