SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -- Scott Wade won't be writing "Wash Me" in the dust on his car. He wants it dusty, because he's the "dirty-car artist."

Wade recreates the grand masters in the dirt on his ride. He's done the Mona Lisa and Van Gogh's "The Starry Night," to name a couple. (See link under photo for more pictures of Wade's car art.)

Wade drives on dusty Texas Hill Country roads just to get his Mini Cooper ready for his artist's touch. He'll even coat his windows with cooking oil, to get them dirtier.

Of course, Wade's masterpieces are only temporary. After it rains he has to start all over again.
