ConAgra Foods Inc. is recalling more than 400,000 pounds of pasta and meatball meals that may have been undercooked, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service said Monday.

The meals are 36.6-ounce cartons of Banquet brand Homestyle Bakes Pasta & Meatballs in Marinara Sauce. Each carton contains a can of marinara sauce and meatballs, a pouch of penne pasta and a pouch of grated cheese.

They were produced between Oct. 19 and Jan. 25 at a plant in Milton, Pa., and shipped to stores nationwide.

The problem was discovered by the company, said Stephanie Childs, spokeswoman for the Omaha-based packaged-food company.

No illnesses had been reported to the USDA or to the company.

Consumers with questions can call the ConAgra hot line at 866-344-7079.
