As many as 100 Arkansas State University students have been tattooed by a 19-year-old student who police say has performed the service out of his dorm room and without a license.
Police say two students have been made ill by the tattoo work.
University Police Chief Jim Chapman won't say what the illnesses are and he won't name the student, who has not yet been charged.
Chapman says some of the students were tattooed in the young man's dormitory room and, in other instances, he went to the room of the person getting the tattoo.
Chapman says he is working with prosecutors and health officials to have the student charged or otherwise cited.
