MAN KILLED WHEN CROPDUSTER COLLIDES WITH JET

Dierk Nash of Wheatley was killed in Oklahoma Tuesday. He is the son of Wheatley Mayor Larry Nash.

An Arkansas man was killed Tuesday in Oklahoma when police say his cropduster collided with an Air Force training jet.

According to Air Tractor, a Texas company, Dierk Nash of Wheatley died while delivering the plane to a customer. Nash is the son of Wheatley Mayor Larry Nash.

Oklahoma police say the two men flying the T-37 jet parachuted to safety.

Air Force officials say the area was known as a hot zone and training is almost daily. The cause is under investigation.
