1. Weights equal bulk
Snowden says weights will not necessarily make women bulk up. He says the key is light weights and lots of reps.

2. Spot reduce
Snowden says people try to exercise one part of the body, like the abs. He says you must have a total body workout to see real results.

3. Working out on empty stomach
Snowden says you need food in your stomach to burn fat. If you don't eat anything, you could get dizzy.

4. Exercising in heavy, long clothes
Snowden says the body needs to sweat and release heat. Extra clothing can make the body heat up internally and it will not provide any physical benefit. Snowden says people should wear light, comfortable clothes. T-shirt and shorts would suffice.

5. No pain no gain
Snowden says listen to your body and if you feel pain, don't continue with the movement. The "no pain, no gain" theory could cause serious injury.
