It happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday at a pond on East Lawson Road and County Line Road.

Deputies tell Today's THV that water rushing from the pond knocked over trees and power lines.

Kaela Avolos is five months pregnant. Her car was swept off the road and she was forced to climb out the window.

She describes the water as a tidal wave, coming out of nowhere and carrying her car at least 150 yards off the road.

The levee break caused a power outage as well, with up to 50 people in the area are in the dark.

Also, authorities are telling residents it's up to them if they want to evacuate.

Lawson and County Roads are closed likely until Sunday.
