Numbers released earlier this week by the Arkansas Realtors Association show that home sales last month are up nearly 10% from the same time last year.
Of course a big reason behind that is the $8,000 tax credit incentive for individuals buying their first home. Earlier this month, Congress extended the deadline to qualify for the credit. It now expires April 30th.
There's also a $6,500 credit for repeat home buyers.
