The 3A playoffs are back on -- Lamar High School has been reinstated in place of Atkins.

The Arkansas Activities Association announced yesterday, the playoffs would begin friday night. 3-A suspended the postseason last week after a judge ruled the governing body couldn't shut Lamar out amid an eligibility dispute.

The student moved from Russellville to Lamar and lived with his grandparents while his parents still lived in Russellville.

Normally, the final game is played at War Memorial but because of the delay, teams will have to play at UCA.
