The book is a celebration of Anne's life, a life taken too soon by crime and to make sure her life's accomplishments are not overshadowed by how she died, her friends and co-workers wrote the book.
Pressly's parents, Patti and Guy Cannady made themselves available to sign autograph copies at Holiday House in the Statehouse Convention Center.
The book is a tribute and a walk through milestones in Pressly's life with reflections from those closest to her. Susan Devorak says the book will give her a glimpse into Pressly's life and give her first hand insight on someone she's never met, but who touched her life.
She adds, "I can't imagine what they've been through to be able to come out here to support such a great cause. As a teacher of journalism students who have that dream, to know the proceeds are going to something she was passionate about is great. Patti is amazing. She just hugged my neck and said you would have loved her, you would have loved her."
The book has been available for 2-days and they've already sold nearly 2,000 copies. The book is $25 and all proceeds from the sale of the book will benefit the Anne Pressly Scholarship Foundation.
