Scotty Thurman and Corliss Williamson were both present at the grand opening for a new subdivision called Sage Meadows.

The two hope to bring new life to the John Barrow Road area with 39 lots in the first phase of construction and another 30 lots in the second phase.

Scotty Thurman says, "When I first moved to Little Rock this was the neighborhood I spent a lot of time in. Derek Fisher's actually from this neighborhood so we spent a lot of time playing pick up games at Parkview. We have a lot of friends and family who live in this area and we wanted to try and do something positive for neighborhood as well as the city."

Thruman and Williamson are partners in the development company behind the project. They hope to fulfill folks dreams of owning a new home.
