Tommy Leath testified in the trial in federal court in Little Rock that he applies the law equally to everyone and a person's race doesn't matter.

Six Hispanic men accuse Leath of stopping them for contrived windshield-obstruction violations when Leath was a patrolman in 2007.

Leath's testimony Wednesday brought an end to the three-day non-jury trial before U.S. District Judge G. Thomas Eisele. Eisele said he will review testimony and pleadings and gather additional information before issuing a written order but didn't say when he will rule.

Attorneys have until Nov. 23 to submit written briefs and additional data.
