Lonoke County Woman Arrested On Drug Charges

A Ward woman is behind bars on several drug charges.

Lonoke County Press Release:

On the 26th October 2009, Deputies Paul McIntosh and David Houser went to #205 West 4th Street, Ward, Arkansas to serve an arrest warrant on 19 year old, Michelle Tapscott.

The arrest warrant was for failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance. While at the residence, Deputies could detect an odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. Further investigation resulted in a small amount of marijuana and drug related paraphernalia being located and seized from the residence.

Tapscott was arrested on the outstanding warrant and for Possession of a controlled substance and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Tapscott was transported to the Lonoke County Detention Facility.
