Woman Found Dead At Home In Forrest City, Ark.

A news release said officers were sent to the home Wednesday afternoon after a telephone call reporting a possible homicide. Emergency medical personnel also sent to the scene found Antoinette Whitley, 65, dead.

The police release said a man was arrested at the scene.

Memphis, Tenn., television station WHBQ reported that a neighbor called police after Whitley's husband approached him and said police should be called, as "I just killed my wife."

Neither the name of the man arrested nor of the neighbor who called police could be obtained Wednesday evening. According to WHBQ, the house where the couple lived was the scene of a fire earlier this week, and they were staying temporarily at the home where the woman's body was found.
