Ark. Ex-teacher Pleads Guilty To Sex With Student

Allison Dean, 31, of Rosston, entered the pleas Thursday before the scheduled start of jury selection in her trial in Columbia County Circuit Court.

Authorities said the boy involved was not a student in any of Dean's English and communications classes. He told investigators the relationship dated from the beginning of the 2008-2009 school year.

An affidavit filed in the case said the relationship came to light when the boy's mother became suspicious of his cell phone use and confiscated the phone and then the boy confessed to his father that he was involved with a teacher.
