Cutter Morning Star is Garland County's smallest district, but it has become a giant when it comes to testing.

Cutter Morning Star doesn't get much publicity. It tends to be overshadowed by the other schools in Garland County: Hot Springs, Lakeside, Fountain Lake, Jessieville, and Lake Hamilton. But in 2009, their elementary school scores in math and literacy were exceptional. A couple of grades approached 100 per cent proficient.

Friday, the school held a celebration, to pat themselves on the back. They have set the testing curve for Garland County schools. Testing scores came from the Department of Education. The school looks forward to even better scores in 2010.
