Two Arkansans Die In Louisiana Crash

VIVIAN, La. (AP) -- Caddo Parish sheriff's deputies are investigating a single-vehicle fatal accident on La. Highway 1.
Deputies were called to the scene between Oil City and Vivian around 5 a.m. Friday.

Investigators say an SUV heading southbound veered off the road, traveled through a ditch, struck a culvert and rolled several times.

Deputies say the driver, 51-year-old Deborah Barrack of Waldo, Arkansas, was taken by ambulance to a Shreveport hospital where she is listed in critical condition.

Two passengers, 51-year-old Theodis Morris of Cullen and 51-year-old Bobbie Jean Lambert of Waldo died in the accident.
