Today's THV has learned the Jefferson County prosecutor's office issued an Order of Nolle Prosse on Garry Becker, manager and part owner of the Royal Arkansas Hotel.

According to the prosecutor's office, that means they ended prosecution because they were able to get all the credit card companies to refund the charges to the guests' credit cards.

Police had arrested Becker in 2006 for fraudulent use of a credit card and theft. They said back then that hotel might have been in financial trouble and the money allegedly was to be used to cover employees' pay. They also said Becker gave them permission to search his office, and that they found additional evidence. The credit cards were mostly from out-of-state hotel guests.
