Austin Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault

The Lonoke County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest for Aggravated assault, Terroristic threatening, Domestic battery, and Fleeing.

On the 3rd June 2009, around 3:04pm, the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office received a report of a disturbance at #50 Ray Wall Road, Austin, Arkansas.

Deputy Bill Peckat and Sgt David Bufford responded. Upon the Deputies arrival, 53 year old Wilber Wall became verbally aggressive towards the Deputies and shouted profanity towards them.

Wall then went in his camping trailer and refused to come out. While Deputy Peckat attempted to look through a window of the camper, Wall pointed a pistol at Deputy Peckat.

The pistol was later identified as a BB gun. Deputies entered the camping trailer and took Wall into custody. Wall was arrested for the offenses of; Aggravated assault, Terroristic threatening, Domestic battery, and Fleeing. Wall was transported to the Lonoke County Detention Facility.
