Phillip Holloway, 59, is accused in the July 22 beating death of 60-year-old Erma Holloway. Officials say Erma Holloway was killed at the couple's property near Waldron.
Holloway admitted to investigators he repeatedly kicked his wife during a fight at their home. When authorities arrived at the scene they found Holloway near a pond, crying and cradling the body of his wife.
The jury was seated Wednesday. Trial is expected to last into next week.
