FEMA Seminars To Rebuild Storm Damaged Homes

Rebuilding or repairing a home after the severe storms and tornadoes can be an overwhelming task, but FEMA wants to help you rebuild safer and stronger homes.

FEMA will tell you how to rebuild to help prevent future disaster damages and techniques that can fortify mobile homes.

FEMA will have rebuilding seminars at the following locations:
- Handy Hardware 2584 Hwy. 71 N., Mena, AR May 14-27, 7:30am to 5:30pm
- Atwoods 1100 Hwy. 71 N. Mena, AR May 14-27, 5pm to 7:30pm
- Bailey's Discount Building Supply 880 Collin Raye Dr., DeQueen, AR May 18-23 7:30am to 5pm
- Miller Doddridge City Park S.H. 160 Doddridge, AR May 17 and May 24, 8am to 6pm
- True Value Hardware 1005 N. Mail St. Hamburg, AR May 15 7:30am to 5:30pm
- True Value Hardware 801 Hwy. 82 Crossett, AR, May 16 7am to 4pm

Those affected by the April 9 disaster can register for disaster assistance by calling: 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for those who have a hearing or speech impairment. Online registration is also available at www.fema.gov www.disasterassistance.gov. Lines are open daily, from 8 a.m. to midnight until further notice.
