Around 1:00 a.m. Sunday, the Conway County Sheriff's Office responded to a fight and shooting at the Overcup Community Building, just north of Morrilton on Highway 9.
When officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Teodoro Carrasco fatally shot. Another man, 26-year-old Armando Vazquez was wounded in the shooting.
The suspect involved in the shooting was taken into custody at the scene, but his name is being withheld pending charges.
The fight occurred during a birthday party at the Overcup Community Building. There were several people at the party, including children, but no other injuries were reported.
