North Little Rock Man Dies During Arrest

Deputies were responding to a call of a stolen four-wheeler in the McAlmont area when they found Larry Ware sitting inside a vehicle.

Authorities say as they approached the vehicle, Ware began swallowing a white substance in a plastic bag. Deputies say Ware began choking after being handcuffed in a patrol car.

Ware later died in an ambulance while on the way to the hospital.
