"What club do you think I should use here? I guess we're like a buck fifty out," says WSPA reporter Rich Klindworth.
Yes you heard right, he is asking for golf advice from a llama. But he's not alone.
"A llama caddy, hey, you can't beat a llama caddy. Look at how proud they stand. They're fabulous," says golfer Howard Shapiro.
Every Tuesday at Sherwood Forest Golf Course in Cedar Mountain, North Carolina you can use a llama to carry your clubs.
"I've been wanting to do it forever and just finally got the pieces put together," says Shapiro.
Right now, the llama caddies are in training and once they acclimated to the golf lifestyle, mark is hoping to take the llamas to other area courses for specialty events.
"It's a hoot!, it really is. It's unique. Kids have a blast with it. I've has many adults play with them as kids," says greens keeper Mark English.
Llamas are pack animals so putting the golf bags on their backs is the next step.
They are very friendly and docile animals, but the jury is still out on their golf knowledge.
