Joshua Garland isn't going to let anything slow him down.
A concrete tower sits along the banks of Beaver Lake in Benton County. The building is bordered by sidewalks leading aimlessly into the water's edge. They're the only visible reminders of Monte Ne, a once popular resort community that gave way to progress and the lake's rising waters in the 1960's.
