IdeaAid is the world's first brainstorming event intended to tackle the issue of global poverty.
Those taking part in the thought process include folks from Heifer International, the Clinton School and others from all over the world. Organizers are looking for some bright ideas to help solve some of the world's toughest problems. More than 1.2 billion people still struggle to survive on less than a dollar a day.
Organizer David Wynett says, "What we're looking for here are new ideas for fundraising, so new ways that people can come up with to quickly generate ideas, methods and tools to end global poverty."
Organizers say you don't have to be a genius to participate, ideas will be collected and refined and then shared for possible implementation.
