LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Police have a warrant out for the arrest of a Conway man who committed theft by deception.
Authorities say that in July of 2011, Matthew Ostrander, 41, took checks totaling nearly $8,000 for roof repairs at a home on Hwy 365 in Morgan that he never completed. Ostrander denied this in an investigation by the Attorney General's Office.
According to authorities, Ostrander was using the company name Arkansas Storm Recovery. A short time later, he changed the named to Arkansas Custom Roofing.
Police believe that because Ostrander has been the subject of fraud allegations before, he frequently changes his business name.
Authorities say that Ostrander was believed to be driving a newer model Hummer at the time of the incident in Morgan, but the color and year is unknown.
Pulaski County Sheriff's Office asks that if you know any information about his whereabouts, contact CRIMESTOPPERS at 340-TIPS.
