Third person arrested in connection with burglaries in Baxter County

BAXTER COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- A third person, Frederick B. Purcell, 18, of Salem, Arkansas has been arrested and charged in connection with several commercial burglaries and thefts committed in baxter county over the past several months.

Purcell's arrest follows that of Joshua M. Bryant and Andrew S. Whitefield, both of Gassville, on charges stemming from the same incidents.

Purcell is currently being held in the Baxter County Detention Center with charges of commercial burglary, theft of property and criminal attempt to commit commercial burglary.

Bond for Purcell is set at $55,000. He will appear in Baxter County Circuit Court on Sept. 29.

Investigation is continuing, and additional arrests are possible.
