LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The House has voted to move forward with the state's budget, despite Republican concerns over Democratic Gov. Mike Beebe's $4.7 billion proposed spending plan.

By a 91-1 vote, the House approved a resolution that will allow Beebe's budget bill to be introduced. The measure required at least 67 votes in the House.

The budget resolution had been delayed after Republicans called for more spending cuts in Beebe's budget. The top Republican in the House called on GOP members to support the resolution, but said they're still far from an agreement.

The measure heads to the Senate, where it needs at least 24 votes before the budget bill can be filed. Republicans are a minority in the Legislature, but hold enough votes to block Beebe's budget.
