FORT SMITH, Ark. (KFSM) -- Family members of Angela Allen finally have answers to her disappearance, but they say they won't have closure for quite some time.

Angela Allen's mother Cecilia Reynolds says family members can now begin the healing process, but they say they won't have closure until justice is served.

"I will be at every court appearance if at all possible," says Reynolds, "He won't forget my face. I will get justice for my daughter."

Reality is slowly sinking in for the 16-year-old's family.

"I'll never be able to hold my daughter in my arms again," says Reynolds, "I'll never be able to tell her that I love her. I'll never be able to walk her down the aisle. I won't be able to do any of that anymore."

Tuesday the family learned the teen that went missing was murdered after meeting a convicted rapist online.

"As a mother, I had a gut instinct that I knew," says Reynolds, "I didn't want to believe it."

The cause of death, strangulation, is something that's also disturbing family.

"I know she put up a fight," says Reynolds,

"She's a fighter," says Allen's Aunt Abigail Stultz.

Although the family has some answers, they say one question still lingers.

"I just want to know why he done it," says Allen's Great-Aunt June Wagner, "I want that answer. I want to know why he done this to our Angela."

Reynolds says she knows her daughter is looking down at her from Heaven.

"Angela baby, Momma's here," says Reynolds, "Just want you to know that I love you and you are very very special to me. You're my miracle baby, but I know where you're at and you'll be watching down over me, and I will get justice for you baby. I promise you that. If it takes till the end of time, I will get justice for you."
Family members say they'll miss Allen's outgoing personality the most.
