Police: Thieves steal copper from Oak Grove High School twice in a month

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV)-- The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating copper theft at Oak Grove High School.

Deputies say thieves have stolen copper twice in the last month. A security officer with the Pulaski County Special School District say copper wires had been cut from an electrical box. Damage to the property is estimated at $2,500.

The school has been vacant since the opening of Maumelle High School.
