THV's Lauren Scott has been reporting Arkansas news since 2009. Lauren joined Today's THV in August of 2011. She loves reporting in her home state and meeting new people every day. From covering deadly tornados to seeing a community come together to rebuild itself, Lauren understands how important it is to tell stories that are important to Arkansas viewers. She especially loves the many festivals such as the Hope watermelon festival and the cardboard boat races in Heber Springs.
Lauren graduated from Harding University and is from Searcy, Arkansas. She knew early on what she wanted to work in news and spent her high school and college career working towards that goal. Lauren worked for Harding University's news station as a weather reporter and producer.
