ANTIGO, WI (CNN) -- A grade school principal and two others are accused of running a drug ring in a small Wisconsin town.
Sheriff Bill Greening says this may be just the beginning. He says, "I certainly expect additional arrests to be made in this case."
A Langlade County drug investigation has led to felony charges against a grade school principal and football coach, 47-year-old John Lund, his brother-in-law, 46-year-old Bradley Maahs, and former special education teacher and coach, 55-year-old Scot Peterson.
Prosecutors say the men bought and sold marijuana, the teachers, right out of their homes. But as details of the investigation became public, a list of potential drug buyers did too.
Teachers from the Antigo School District and Merrill School District have been named. Greening says, "The school district has taken action I guess because of their alleged involvement and also suspended them."
It's a story that has shaken this small community. Dan Quartaro played football for Coach Lund. He says, "I really liked him but that just makes me lose respect."
Justin Flack had Peterson for class. He says, "One of them was my teacher, I see him, he never did that, I've even been out to his house before. Now its, I'm completely shocked and I'm disappointed in them."
Greening says, "It doesn't matter who is involved, we have to investigate it the same way and it's a criminal activity."
The three men are due back in court next month.
