LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (January 24, 2012) - In this increasingly digital world, it makes sense to start organizing your family's activities on your mobile device.

Author and Good Housekeeping contributor Kyran Pittman is here with some of the many digital organization apps available.

Mobile Calendar
A mobile calendar helps you swiftly capture dates and appointments, and syncing it with a web-based calendar (like Google or iCal) means your schedule is always backed up, even if you misplace your phone. All smartphones have a web-based calendar available.

Cozi
This free app functions like a mobile family bulletin board or message center. You can use it to build and track to-do lists, shopping lists and menu plans. You can share between other family members, so they can access the current grocery list while at the supermarket or the "honey-do" list while at the hardware store. Cozi makes it easy to share your calendar with other family members, and to send alerts and reminders to their mobile phones.

Evernote
This amazingly versatile app can capture nearly any kind of information you can think of: images, words, even voice. One of the revolutionary aspects of Evernote is that it can search images for text. So for example, if you snap a photo of your doctor's appointment card, and want to look up that number later, Evernote can easily retrieve it. You can organize information in notebooks, and can select notebooks to share with family members.
