MORRILTON, Ark. (KTHV) - A plant in Arkansas will be closing its doors, causing over 100 job layoffs.
Bosch in Morrilton has decided to close at the end of next year. Workers at the plant have learned of this today. 140 jobs will be lost. The underlying cause has been defined as serious cost issues at the facility.
The first layoffs are expected to occur around April. Severance packages will be offered when jobs are eliminated.
Bosch makes wood and plastic components used for speakers. They've been in Morrilton since 2006.
