LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Here are some fun family events for the upcoming weekend.

Harvest!
Wildwood Park for the Arts
Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Fall into the new season at this year's HARVEST! Festival at Wildwood Park for the Arts. This fourth annual event is home to the Arkansas State Pickin' & Fiddlin' Championship, in addition to afternoons full of seasonal demonstrations, children's activities, hayrides to Pumpkin Hill, crafts and vendors, delicious food and more. Kicking off the event will be Wildwood's RunWILD 5K and WILDFun Family Run from 8:30-11 a.m. Oct. 8. Festival is from 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Oct. 8 and 12:00 p.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 9. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12. Children ages 5 and younger are FREE. For info: 821-7275.

Electrical Magic
McArthur Museum
Saturday, Oct 8: 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.
Brace yourself for a high-voltage illusion as you explore the world of electricity. Sponsored by the Museum of Discovery and hosted by McArthur Military Museum, this event features magician Scott Davis, who will take the audience on a journey of circuits. Discover why the lights come on and how most household appliances are powered. It's a fun show for all ages. Entry fee is $1 non-members and free for museum members.

Girl Scout Patch Day
Mid America Science Museum

Saturday, Oct. 8, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
A special event just for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors! Girl Scouts will earn the unique MASM patch, explore the Mid-America Science Museum and special activity stations tailored to support a variety of badge requirements, and learn about other offerings for Girl Scouts. Cost is $8 per scout (includes physical patch); and $5 per accompanying adult. Deadline to register is Oct. 6.
