NLR Family Fun Fest
Dickey-Stephens Park
Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
This third annual family event is from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. There will be live music and entertainment, a Kids & Teen Zone with inflatables, hands-on activities, games, rock climbing wall, creative crafts and more. There will also be more than 100 vendor booths to visit, ranging from business services to arts and crafts. The headliner for the event will be the music group, "Trout Fishing in America." High Cotton on the Bayou
Scott Plantation
Saturday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Tour authentic, turn-of-the-century plantation buildings along with the heritage farm and crops. There will also be horse- and mule-drawn farming demonstrations, music, hayrides, pumpkins, arts and crafts and food. Admission is $3, youth ages 6 - 18 are $1 and kids younger than 6 are FREE.
