Back-to-School Bash
Clinton Presidential Center
Saturday, Aug. 13
Free admission: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
In conjunction with President Clinton's 65th birthday and Library free admission day, "Head of the Class Bash" is the Center's first annual back-to-school festival. It will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The first 500 students will receive free backpacks filled with school supplies. There will be live entertainment, games, rock climbing wall and helicopter tours provided by the Arkansas Air National Guard, tours of a Little Rock Fire Department (LRFD) fire truck, free car seat inspections by the LRFD, free Hope watermelons while they last. A limited of free haircuts, immunizations and physicals will be available on a first come, first-served basis
Charity Vance in Concert

Wildwood's Emerging Artists Series presents American Idol contestant Charity Vance Live at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. A $50 VIP package includes an autographed CD and poster and a post-concert party with Charity. For info: 821-7275.
