Allstar Weekend and Kicking Daisies in concert

One concert in this year's Pepsi Concert Series at Magic Springs is a must-see for kids and teens. Kicking Daisies and AllStar Weekend will take the stage June 11 at the park's Timberwood Ampitheater in Hot Springs. Kicking Daisies is a 17-and-under four-piece with jaw-dropping musical skills and an infectious punk-pop sound. They are already selling out shows and moving steadfast toward a long-standing career in the music industry. Likewise, AllStar Weekend is a former garage band that was launched onto the mainstream by the Disney Channel's "Next Big Thing" TV show. The group's pop rock music is inspired by their typical teenage experiences. As always, every concert is free with park admission or for season pass holders. KinderSongs Release Party

To celebrate the release of their new CD KinderSafety, Brian and Terri Kinder will perform a free concert at 10:30 a.m. Parents and kids are encouraged to sing and dance along with the Kinders. They will also have the chance to win safety raffle prizes, such as a bicycle helmet, booster seat or life jacket. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Central Arkansas Safety Town, which will be using the songs as part of its curriculum. FREE!

This festival from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. will include a variety of ethnic foods, retail booths, health, business and employment information, a silent auction, a martial arts demonstration and other entertainment.
