With her roots in Howard County, Lauren is proud to call Arkansas her home state. She enjoyed "exploring the world" around her as a curious and inquisitive youngster, which usually involved playing outside on the farm or performing skits in the living room with her siblings.
Her love of reporting grew during the 11th grade as her multi-media class was the first group to produce the television newscast for her high school. She enjoyed the hands-on involvement of all aspects-production as well as on-air work.
Lauren earned her broadcast journalism degree from Harding University where she was involved in the TV-16 News team.
Since living in Little Rock, she's grown a familiarity with the local scene and social calendar as an entertainment reporter for a weekly newspaper. Never titling herself as a "newspaper girl" she brought her camera experience, both still and video, behind and in front of the camera to cover the local events.
She joins the Today's THV team with eagerness to hear more, visit more, learn more and share more. Feel free to email Lauren your story ideas to lclark@todaysthv.com.
